Darran Valley Community Council is pleased to announce that funding was approved by Council for poppies to be painted on the roads near the Cenotaphs in Deri and Fochriw. Work has been completed in both villages and we are delighted with the results.
However, it is with regret we must report there has been some vandalism to the cenotaph in Deri which includes a lot of the paving stones being damaged and removed, and some minor damage to some of the plants and trees. Deri Regeneration Group are in the process of getting the paving stones replaced. Please report any suspicious behaviour to the Police by calling 101.
